The MENA region is one of the world’s most dangerous places for human rights defenders, civic activists, and journalists. As a result, activists would frequently find themselves in high-risk situations, both physically and online. Further capacity-building initiatives, including specific digital security programs, were developed to counteract breaches of these activists’ rights and freedoms, as well as the shrinking of civic spaces where they may continue to operate.
I4C MENA alongside the local partner in Palestine “7amleh” conducted a 30-Days Digital Security campaign in Arabic, to raise awareness about Digital Security (Threats, Tools, ..etc) and were posted on I4C MENA Hub and 7amleh’s social media accounts.
