The Middle East and North African countries are in various stages of democratic transformation. The region’s civil society and HRDs have limited access to information on safeguarding civic space in vulnerable situations and mobilizing solidarity and resources.
I4C MENA Hub works to develop and sustain the joint efforts to open civic spaces; through Knowledge Management and resourcing, which involves identifying potentially practical knowledge that would directly benefit the region’s civic space through absorbing data, creating resources, tools, and processes, providing evidence-based resources about regional civil society with the purpose of building the capacity of a broader group of activists and organizations to protect human rights and defend civic space.
